Short Description:	ADCY3 Blocking Peptide for STJ502066 is synthetically produced from the sequence and is suitable for use in western blot applications.

Formulation:	Liquid form at 2.5mg/ml concentration in PBS. Up to 5% DMSO can be added. Orders with >1mg can be supplied in lyophilized powder form, or in buffer of choice.

Post Translational Modifications	Sumoylated. Sumoylation is required for targeting ot olfactory cilia. N-glycosylated. Rapidly phosphorylated after stimulation by odorants or forskolin. Phosphorylation by CaMK2 at Ser-1076 down-regulates enzyme activity.
Function	Catalyzes the formation of the signaling molecule cAMP in response to G-protein signaling. Participates in signaling cascades triggered by odorant receptors via its function in cAMP biosesynthesis. Required for the perception of odorants.
